Dear Ryan's mother,

Ryan had an excellent English language lesson today. He worked hard and we covered many challenging concepts. He took lots of notes, which he must refer to whenever he needs to remember important lesson knowledge.

Ryan needs to remember that for his upcoming homework submissions, I will be evaluating his homework using the following 4 homework completion criteria:

1) Spelling

2) Capital letters

3) Punctuation (e.g.: periods, etc.)

4) Using the words in the Question to guide his sentence Answers

Every error he makes, will be 1 point off, therefore he must check his homework for errors before submitting. You can do it, Ryan!

Dear Ryan's parents,

It is always so nice to see Ryan. He is such a fun, intelligent boy and he does try his very best when encouraged to do so. He has a great sense of humour!

It sounds like Ryan is having a good start to the school year. It is nice to hear that he has friends (Chinese speaking) to help him feel welcome and happy. It is also nice to hear that he has an EAL teacher to help him at school plus a computer device to help him with translations and research of subject topics he doesn't know. Wonderful!

You have lots of help at school, Ryan, so don't forget to ask for help and to use your computer device to help you with translations and research. Keep up the hard work! You can do it!

It is always very nice to see Ryan. He is such a sweet boy and an intelligent student. Although there were some issues with Ryan's device and internet connectivity, we were able to cover most of the lesson curriculum planned for today. Excellent hard work today, Ryan!
