Ian did a great job in class today. He did well with his reading and discussing the reading with me. Ian corrected his homework and rewrote the draft model. This week for homework he will complete the unit test.

Ian did an excellent job in class today. He read a short play and was able to discuss it. He was able to use all new vocabulary words in his own sentences and he showed excellent understanding of the irregular past tense verbs.

Ian did a great job in class today. He was attentive and worked with me to correct any errors or missing parts of his homework. We talked about that the draft model needs when he sees that on his homework. Ian did well with today's reading and comprehension questions.

Ian did very well in class today. He reread one of the texts from his unit test and redid the two questions he had incorrect. Ian did not complete the paragraph question on his unit test and we completed it in class. As well we reviewed the correct paragraph structure. I have included an extra homework assignment for this week so Ian can practice writing a complete paragraph.

He did very well with a grammar review and identifying errors in sentences.

Ian did a great job in class today. He spelled all spelling words correctly except 'churn.' He shows a good understanding of words with 'r-controlled' vowels. Ian did the lesson reading independently and was able to complete all post reading activities. Excellent work from Ian today.
