Dear parents,
It has been a joy and an honour to teach your children during the July 2021 session of the ANEE Wonders Program.
I truly hope your children enjoyed and academically benefited from their time with me, in our online classrooms.
It would be a true pleasure to be their teacher in our August 2021 session of the ANEE Wonders Program.
If I do not have the opportunity to teach them in August 2021, I wish them much academic success and happiness, for the start of the new school year in September 2021.
To all of you, and your family and friends, please keep well, stay safe and healthy, and my best regards are with you always.
Sincerely,
Mr. Grande.
p.s.: in class today, we had our Week 4 Test and I will message you your child's individual results over this coming weekend.
p.s.s.: your children have not been assigned any further homework for the July 2021 ANEE Wonders Program. Have a wonderful Civic Holiday weekend!
Dear Michael's parents,
It was so very nice to see Michael and his mother, once again today!
Today's Trial Lesson was a Diagnostic Assessment Lesson to determine what English language level Michael is at.
We worked on Reading and Grammar tasks at the Grade 2 level. I assessed the four components of language: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
After speaking with Michael's mother, I believe that the Grade 2 (G2) Wonders program would be the best level for Michael's English language placement.
I will wait and evaluate Michael's homework (Lesson 16, Dec.08th, Week 4 Test), to provide a final confirmation of this G2 Wonders placement for Michael.
If you have any questions, please contact Ms.Ling or myself, at any time. Thank you and I look forward to seeing Michael again soon!
Very best regards,
Mr. (Domenico) Grande.

Dear G2 Parents,
For homework, can you please ensure that your children independently complete the following:
1) Lesson 12 Weekly Test
Please submit this test prior to Monday's class.
Also, please remind your child to write their Question 21 answer, using the Hamburger Paragraph Writing strategy we learned in class.
Thank you so very much.
p.s.: if you wish your children to complete more homework then I have assigned, please do so and submit. I will review all homework submitted. This past week's tasks are from lessons 8-11.
Important - please remember to only have your children complete extra homework that they have literary knowledge about and which they can successfully and accurately apply to their work.
If they do work that is unfamiliar to them, it will only confuse the concepts they are learning, creating learning gaps and poor knowledge acquisition and therefore negative scaffolding scenarios occur which impact future concept learning. To unlearn poor knowledge acquisition is very difficult to do.
Thank you for your understanding.
Have a wonderful weekend to you all.
Mr. Grande.
Dear G2 Parents,
Please continue to encourage your children to participate in class and to take risks with the curriculum. When they do so, the potential for what level of learning they can achieve, is limitless. Thank you for the wonderful support, you provide your children, in their learning.

Dear Parents,
Your children worked very hard today. They were focused and engaged throughout today's lesson and they were motivated to learn the curriculum in detail. Well done to them all.
Today, we covered the Writing portion of our Weekly Tests and success strategies. FYI - we covered success strategies for the Multiple Choice portion of our Weekly Tests, last Thursday.
Weekly Tests will be done after our last lesson of the week on Thursdays. They are to independently complete the Weekly Tests and then submit them to ANEE for my Evaluation. Parents, please do not assist your children in completing their Weekly tests. If they require assistance with submitting their Weekly Tests, please do so. Thank you very much.
For their Writing portion, your children learned the Hamburger method of Paragraph Writing (see below).
The Expectation is that your child's written work is neat (well-formed letters, etc), with correct use of uppercase/lowercase letters and punctuation – literary components which we are learning in our lessons and they must be applied to their work. Thank you.
For today’s Homework, they are to READ ONLY - Lesson #5 - Task #1. We will cover Task #1 Questions, in class tomorrow. Thank you once again.

Dear Parents,
It was very nice to meet and teach your child today.
For today's lesson, we covered the following:
1) Online Classroom Rules and Expectations
2) In Class Activities - Task 1 and/or Task 2
3) Assigned Homework Expectations
No Homework was assigned today however starting tomorrow, for our Lesson 2, I will be assigning Homework.
Homework completion is important for my Lesson Planning. It is a Diagnostic Tool to help reveal Learning Gaps your child may have which I can plan for and then address in class.
A) Homework is to be completed to the best of your child's ability.
B) If your child doesn't have time to complete the Homework, please Submit the Homework as is, with that reason of, 'No Time to Complete', noted on the Homework sheet. This will guide my Lesson Planning for your child.
C) If your child is unsure of anything given for Homework, leave it Blank OR help your child with the respective challenging activity and note that you assisted your child, onto the Homework sheet. This will guide my Lesson Planning for your child.
If you have any questions, you can message me through the ANEE website or contact ANEE and they can pass on your message to me.
Thank you very much for choosing ANEE. Your child's academic success is my/our focus.
Have a very good evening to you all.
Best regards,
Mr. D. Grande.
