James did a great job in class today. He participated well and was attentive. James did a great job on his unit test. We went over it in class and made a few minor corrections. He did very well with today's reading and writing sentences with his vocabulary words. James shows excellent understanding of the parts of speech and he had fun playing an adjective game at the end of class.

It was nice to have James in class today. He was attentive throughout his lesson. James and I reviewed his homework and corrected two errors with usage of regular past tense verbs. James and I did an extra practice writing past tense verbs ending in '-ed' and after the review James was able to end each verb correctly. James did very well with the lesson reading today and discussiong the 'plot' (or what happened in the story). He showed excellent understanding. Thank you,
