James did a great job in class today. We practiced completing sentences using verbs in the simple present and future tenses. I reminded James that when we use a verb in the future with 'will' we do not add an /s/ to the verb, "My mom will cook dinner." (not cooks). He was attentive for his grammar lesson and I think he understood what I was saying. We will revisit this in our next lesson.
James did well with the lesson reading of a folktale and the comprehension/discussion questions that followed.
Great job today from James. For homework this week James will do the unit test for lesson 12.
Thanks,
Ms. Katie.
