James did an excellent job in class today. We began with a review of his homework and a few corrections. James and I reviewed what our sentences need (capital letter, punctuation, careful reading that all words are there). James made a few of his own new sentences and he was able to identify  my errors when writing them. James did well with the lesson reading. I asked him how we know it is a play (it had characters, dialogue and usually takes place in a theater), James said he was unsure of what a play is. He could review what a play is before doing his unit test.

This week for homework James will complete the unit test.
