I am very interested in different cultures and the opportunity to use my many years of experience to teach students a second language. The TESOL/TESL/TEFL certificate, I have obtained, has prepared me for all aspects of teaching English. I have one year experience teaching abroad in China to teens and university students who were enrolled in an Overseas Study Preparatory Program. I prepared the students in all four language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking to pass their IELTS tests. Since returning to Canada I have worked online as an ESL teacher tutoring students aged 5-14 from China. The platforms I taught helped students to have creativity and excitement while learning and communicating in English. Teaching in College and as an educational assistant in elementary school has given me a passion for teaching. I love to motivate students to reach their full potential.

A great teacher has to respect and motivate their students to perform to the best of their ability. I try to engage students with different tools so they become interested in their lessons and want to learn more. I spend time getting to know the students so they see my respect and interest in them as individuals. An organized and disciplined classroom helps in delivering material that students can easily understand. I look forward to continue teaching students english classes so they can excel in their studies.
