Happy Holidays! I hope the whole family will enjoy this week together and I wish Marquis and his little brother success with their poetry reading and flag raising ceremony. Wonderful!

I would like to recommend that Marquis no longer have Spelling & Phonics as part of his G3 Wonders curriculum because he has mastered Spelling & Phonics at this grade level. Congratulations, Marquis! I would recommend that Marquis' homework consist of alternating weekly tests and grammar worksheets, from week to week. I hope that you are happy with this very positive change and celebration of Marquis exceptional Spelling & Phonics achievement - (p.s.: for your information: I will continue to monitor Marquis' Spelling & Phonics throughout our lessons and correct him as needed).

Marquis had another strong English language lesson today. I learned so much from him as well today - all about your pet Praying Mantis! He is so proud of his little brother because he catches so many grasshoppers for the Praying Mantis. Marquis even showed me the Praying Mantis' eggs that it just laid. Incredible!
