Dear James' parents,

It was a real pleasure to meet James for the first time today. He had a very strong lesson, working hard and being fully engaged with the lesson curriculum and with his teacher's instructional direction. Wonderful!

For today's lesson, Lesson 16 - U2W1 - Your Turn - July 16, we covered the following literacy concepts:

1) Introductory greeting 

2) Diagnostic comprehension

3) Key Vocabulary - Definitions & Usage

4) Short/Long 'o' sounds

5) Inflectional Endings: '-ed' & '-ing'

Once again, it was wonderful meeting James for the first time today. He is clearly an intelligent, hard working boy and a strong student. I look forward to our future lessons together.
