Dear James' parents,

It was a successful English language lesson with James, today! At this Unit level, he is demonstrating much more confidence and accuracy in his English language knowledge comprehension and communication. He definitely is learning with much more joy at this Unit level, which is wonderful to see him doing once again. Thank you.

For today's lesson, we reviewed James' homework as well as his Anchor Chart binder. We also covered Lesson 2 - Task 1 - U3L2 - In Class - Force at Work.  

We covered the following literacy concepts:

1) Pre-reading strategies: prediction, identification, text-to-self and text-to-world connections
