1. Xenocrates had been teased about his size by the Supreme Blade, and he now thought that he was like 'the  overweight kid that was always picked last in the sports team'. In Midmerica, he would've been thought as impressive, but now he looked silly compared to the other scythes in the World Council.

2. By misplaced, Faraday could simply be implying about the hidden books while keeping them a secret.

3. Goddard wouldn't let her have what she wanted, so she decided that he shouldn't have what he wanted as well. This is why she lets Rowan escape.

4. They manage to find the Marshall Atolls, and they discover that the center Atoll, Kwajalein is the Land of Nod.

5. The Thunderhead can't operate on Endura because of scythe-stat separation. So, humans have to fix the glitches manually, just like in the mortal age. Either that or it's the doing of Goddard, who hacked into the system, which caused the sinking of Endura.

6. The World Council saw themselves in Anastasia, and since they were power hungry before, they assumed that Anastasia was also power hungry.

7. She tricked the two into going into the cube and locking them in. Since water temperature is always a few degrees above freezing, the air-tight chambers would preserve the two until they were found and revived.

8. This is probably in a plan of the Thunderhead's. In previous plans, the Thunderhead would have to have a connection with Greyson in private. For example, Greyson and Agent Traxler would communicate in secret while Greyson was an unsavory. This time, the Thunderhead marked everyone unsavory except for Greyson, so that meant nobody can communicate with the Thunderhead except Greyson, and so this could be how Greyson can communicate with the Thunderhead secretly. This factor must be part of the Thunderhead's plan, otherwise it wouldn't try to communicate with Greyson more than once.

2. I'm not sure. (Also, Faraday is speaking, not Munira)

(Since when were there only eight questions?)

1. According to the clerk, Greyson was unsovory due to violation of the scythe-stat separation.

2. Greyson was marked 'unsavory' so he could communicate with Traxler in secret.

3. I think Faraday came fonly to get questions answered and to deliver information and warnings. At least, that's what it seemed like to me.

4. According to the Thunderhead, it 'simply understood the need for variety and social innovation'. This is probably hinting that the Thunderhead understood that not everything had to be the same, so it created the Charter Regions for people who wanted to have different lifestyles and personas from people outside the regions.

5. I think Scythe Rand is secretly recruiting Tyger for the sole purposes of her own goals. For example, ending Rowan. We know that Rowan and Tyger shared a connection before the whole 'scythe' period, and so Rowan might hesitate to fight Tyger. Also, it could mean another scythe that supports Goddard's beliefs.

6. Faraday requests that Munira simply help him by concealing him during his visits, warning if anyone comes near, not alert anyone that Faraday is still alive, etc.

7. Constantine says that Citra shouldn't glean because of the threat around her and Curie. He said that giving the subjects their choice of place to be gleaned would give the subjects a clear advantage and a chance to eliminate Citra. Constantine said it wasn't worht the risk.

8. The fact that Mault was set in the Fifties era completely surprised Greyson. He though the club would be like a sort of Night Club.

9. The wine is acid. That's it. It's toxic acid.

10. Scythe Curie says that a scythe conscience is their most valuable posse

1. Scythe Brahms is a  New Orderscythe who had recetnly turned the corner for the second time. He is a man who enjoys 'gleaning', or killing, and so he leaned more towards Goddard's beliefs. He wears a peach colored robe with embroidered baby-blue trim. I am fairly sure that a regular, more merciful scythe does not restrain a subject, play some music and then kill the subject without their consent.

2. The book doesn't clearly state what exactly is the remaining path, but I am fairly sure that he means killing the scythes who don't deserve their position.

3. Xenocrates is complaining on why the Thunderhead hadn't reacted to Rowan's actions. While the complaint is valid, the Thunderhead's arguement is correct. The complaint is not justified, since it is not the Thunderhead's business to punish a scythe, ordained or not. As long as Rowan completed his training and has a scythe ring, he is a scythe, according to the Thunderhead's perspective. It cannot get involved, as it cannot interact with the scythedom.

4. Scythe Anastasia lets the subjects have time to prepare and decide their death themselves. This method is a very merciful, unlike some other methods, such as Brahm's method.

5. The scythedom has gotten so focused on the deed of killing that they have forgotten how to glean with compassion. They couldn't understand what the subject felt about dying. Being able to choose how you die is an honor (kind of). Illnesses are kind of like Citra's method, and so they give time to make amends with family.

6. Because of the memorial of death, Pittsburgh has become the everyday Halloween city.

7. New-order scythes are more boastful, while old-order scythes tend to be more cautious. The more you live, the more you know. New-order scythes also tend to enjoy gleaning, while old-order scythes usually glean with compassion, like Scythe Curie.

8. Judging from the book, Rand is going to train Tyger to be a scythe. It isn't entirely clear.

9. Traxler may have been targeting Greyson for a certain reason, since Traxler is being extremely specific about what exactly he is speaking, and he also gives the address, as if he's hoping for Greyson to save the two scythes.

10. He may have meant that certain experiences in scythehood may detach a scythe for their family. By detach, I mean detaching the bonds of family. For instance, killing. Knowing that your relative is a killer can be a little shocking. Another thing, the mentor of the said scythe could take the role of parent from the biological parent of the said scythe. This could create jealousy.
