Emily did a great job today, and read many of the words herself. Good words to practice are flower, bed, clean, friend, time.
Feb. 4--we read the story, and talked about the meanings of words. We spent some time discussing what the moon was, and how it is different than the egg. We talked about how the life cycle is real, (and I wasn't pranking her). Next week we will work on some of the comprehension questions.
For homework, Emily could practice

and the days of the week.
Great work today!
Jan. 28--we reread the story and concentrated on attending the text and learning the sight words. Emily is starting to be able to recognize individual words and state them. We didn't get to the comprehension work, so we will reread the same story next week and do them. Great work!
January 21st
Today we read the story and worked on the words in the word bank. Next week, we will reread the same story, and work away at the comprehension questions.

Today we reread the 5 little ducks, and completed the activities.
Jan. 7th
Emily did a great job working on the sight words and reading the text along with the teacher. She knows her number words well, and uses pictures clues to solve other words. But, little, went, only, and over might be good words to practice this week.
Great class!
