Dear Parents. My name is Domenico Grande (Teacher Domenico or Mr. Grande). I am a recently retired, fully certified [Ontario Certified Teacher - OCT), and experienced Full Curriculum (Primary/Junior)/ESL teacher (19 years) and I am very excited to teach your child. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph (located in Guelph, Ontario, Canada) as well as a Bachelor of Education degree from Brock University (Hamilton campus, Ontario, Canada). I spent approximately 4 years teaching ESL to Korean students (from 6 to 17 years of age) as well as adults, in Busan, South Korea and I enjoyed this experience very much. I fell in love with teaching the English language at this time, so much so that when I returned to Canada, I acquired my teaching degree and taught in Ontario, Canada for another 13 years until my retirement in 2018. Since my retirement, I have been teaching online English language lessons which I also enjoy very much. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy traveling, learning and experiencing new topics and activities, reading, meeting new people, fully experiencing this wonderful life we've been given. My wife and I have recently moved to beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and I would still continue to enjoy teaching for many years to come.
