Dear parents,

For today's lesson, we worked on Unit 3, Lesson 3, Task 1 (Literature book). This lesson was about Folktales [Old Fiction Stories with a Message]. To stimulate thought, we first shared Chinese Folktales such as 'The Legend of Nian', 'The Bear and the Corn', and 'The Lion and the Shepherd'. 

We covered the following curriculum for today's lesson:

1) Read p.194-213

2) Completed p.215 (Respond to Reading) - Summarize (Plot): Problem - Key Details - Solution.  

For homework, can your children please complete and submit the following work before our next class:

1) Unit 3, Lesson 3, Task 2 (Your Turn Practice) 

2) Lesson 4: Sep 23 - Week 1 Test

- Independently Complete then Submit.
