Dear parents,

Since your children did not complete their G3 Enhanced Reading Wonders.Assessment.Weekly Assessment.G3U3W5.pdf for homework, I needed to use this Lesson teaching time to administer this Weekly Test.

Unfortunately, this missed teaching time impacts your child's overall learning of curriculum for this Unit.

Also, due to the limited time of our class (1 hour), their test results are not at their highest level.

By doing these tests at home, they would have the necessary time to achieve their highest potential result and they would not feel so rushed. Thank you.

I will be sending you your child's test result by Message, shortly.

For Homework - please complete all or some of the following assignments:

1) Your child has the option to REDO the above test, independently, and then submit to me for marking.

2) Unit 4, Lesson 1, Task 2 -                                    (Your Turn Practice):

- Complete Only p.151, 157-158 then Submit.

3) Unit 4, Lesson 1, Task 1 - (Literature Book):

- Read Only p.278-288, Record, then Submit.

Thank you all for your understanding and support.

Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Best regards,

Mr. Grande.

Dear parents,

Since this G3 Wonders Enhanced program is at an advanced level, completing and submitting homework is very important, to keep up with the curriculum expectations.

Unfortunately, none of your children have submitted homework for the past 4 weeks.

To check their acquisition and application of this curriculum knowledge, I administered the Lesson 12 - Oct.7th Weekly Test, during class yesterday. The poor results are a reflection of incomplete homework as well as knowledge loss due to lack of reinforcement and practice of knowledge learned in class.

All your children were challenged by this in-class test.

Having your children independently complete their weekly tests at home, will allow them more time to check their answers before submission. Plus, classes can be used for academic instruction to address Learning Gaps rather then administering these Weekly Tests.

I will message you the test results for each of your children.

I ask you to please encourage and support your children in completing some or all of their homework and then submit it to me. I can then check for their Learning Gaps and address your child's specific Learning Gaps, in-class, as I prepare my lesson plans.

Thank you for your understanding, support, and encouragement for your child's high levels of academic success.

Now the homework for this week is as follows (please complete some or all this homework before our next class). Thank you.

Lesson 11, Task 1 (Literature Book)

- Read, Record, and Submit

Lesson 11, Task 2 (Your Turn)

- Complete and Submit

Thank you once again. Have a wonderful weekend to you all.

Best regards,

Mr. Grande.
