For today's lesson, we worked on Lesson 19, Task 1 (Literature Book). This lesson was about Poetry.

We covered the following:

1) Read p.188-190 & p.192-193

(Poetry Elements: Rhyme, Rhythm, Alliteration, Limerick, Free-Verse).

2) Completed p.191 (Respond to Reading) - Text Evidence & Simile. 

3) We created our own Poem!

For homework, can your children, time willing and to the best of their ability, please complete and submit the following before our next class:

1) Lesson 19, Task 2 (Your Turn Practice) 

- Complete then Submit

2) Lesson 20: Sep 16 -L20 Weekly Test

- Independently Complete then Submit.
