Dear parents,

It is wonderful to start the G3 Wonders Fall Classes with your children. Our first day together went very well. Hopefully, your children enjoyed their lesson today.

Your children will need 4 items for every class:

- a notebook

- a pencil

- an eraser

- a ruler

We are beginning our classes from Unit 2, Lesson 13. Today, we completed Task 2 - Literature. We covered the following:

1) Reviewed Vocabulary p. 148-149

2) Read p.150-155 (Reading Strategies - Title, Genre, Expository Text, Text Features Introduction)

3) Completed p.156-159 (Reread, Author Point of View, Expository Text, Suffixes)

For homework, can your children please complete and submit the following before our next class:

1) Lesson 13, Task 1 (Spelling Practice)

2) Lesson 14, Task 1 (Your On Level Reading)

3) Lesson 14, Task 2 (Grammar)
