Writing Exercise

Choose a country in the world, OTHER than Canada or your family’s home country. It should be a place you don’t know a lot about.

Use the research tips we’ve discussed to write a country profile that could be used to educate Social Studies students in grade 4. (So don’t get too complicated!) This should include the country’s population, top exports, most popular religion, and some facts about climate and culture.

Create an Annotated Bibliography

- find at least 3 websites with facts about your Slide 26 country

- create an annotated bibliography (cite your sources)

- type out the APA citations for each website

- under each citation, explain in 2-3 sentences what you learned from that website

** Refer to Slide 34 and Slide 35 to guide you with APA citations.
