For today's lesson, we covered some of Lesson 3 - Task 1 - U3L3 - Aguinaldo.

We focused on the following literacy concepts:

1) Pre-reading strategies: prediction, identification, text-to-self and text-to-world connections

2) Key/New vocabulary - Spanish - Synonyms

3) Reading strategies: Articulation & Enunciation, Fluency, Decoding, and Comprehension

4) Genre: Realistic Fiction

Parents: if you can please print out the Anchor Charts I have provided you for your children's learning of this higher level G4 Wonders Enhanced curriculum, it would be most beneficial for the scaffolding of knowledge that would best equip your children with learning supports and references, for their current grade and future grade curriculum, in school and out.

Anchor Charts are used by classroom teachers for this very purpose (you've probably noticed them displayed around the classroom for the students easy reference).

Providing an Anchor Chart binder, with plastic page protectors, would ensure the Anchor Charts' longevity and usefulness. Thank you very much.
