Dear Anran and Anran's parents,

It was very nice to see Anran today. She had a very good English language lesson.

Anran submitted her homework very late (just before class) so we needed to use much of today's lesson to evaluate her homework together.

Unfortunately, we did not have time to complete all that I had planned for Anran's lesson.

Can Anran please complete and submit her homework the day before her lesson (Tuesday) or earlier?

For today's lesson, we reviewed Anran's homework and we also covered some of Lesson 25 - Task 1 - U2L7 - In Class - Eagles and Eaglets.  

We covered the following literacy concepts and strategies:

1) Pre-reading strategies: prediction, identification, text-to-self and text-to-world connections

2) Key / New vocabulary: translations, definitions, and synonyms

3) Reading strategies: context clues, text features, fluency, and comprehension

4) Genre: Expository Text

5) Punctuation: periods

6) Copying words correctly especially plural nouns and not forgetting the 's'

7) Parts of Speech: noun, verb, adjective, adverb, article, preposition, conjunction, pronoun
