Dear Chloe's parents,

It was very nice to see Chloe today. She is such a respectful and kind girl and she is a true joy to teach. She truly does try hard to succeed in her English language learning. Her use of Google Translate is becoming very significant in her learning success. Thank you very much for providing Chloe the use of a laptop to assist her with the necessary translations that she requires. Wonderful!

Today's lesson (Lesson 1 - Task 1 - U1L1 - Friends and Family), was focused on the following literacy concepts: 

1) Pre-reading strategies: predictions and text-to-self connections

2) Key/New vocabulary

3) Reading strategies: Articulation & Enunciation, Fluency, and Comprehension

4) Genre: Fantasy
