Dear Summer's parents,

Summer is becoming a much more effective independent learner. He is actively engaging in his lessons, motivated to succeed in his learning, at the highest levels. For example, he is now independently searching through his Anchor Chart binder to find the information to accurately answer questions I ask of him. His answer accuracy ratio is growing exponentially! Keep up the great work, Summer!

For today's lesson, we reviewed Summer's homework as well as his Anchor Chart binder. We also covered Lesson 8 - Task 1 - U1L6 - In Class - Changing Landscapes.  

We covered the following literacy concepts and strategies:

8) Compare and Contrast Chart (Venn Diagram)
