Dear Amy,
I wrote a lot here so I apologize. Hopefully Ling can help you with the understanding. Thank you.
I am sorry to have bothered you after class today. I needed to let you know of Evan's significant change when you came into the room with us. Thank you for letting me speak to Evan after class.
I spoke to Evan and I asked him why he stopped working hard and stopped paying attention during our lesson when you came into the room.
He said it was hard for him to pay attention and he was tired, when you were there. Interesting.
I think Evan wants to spend more time with his mom. He misses you I think. I know you are all so busy and a little tired I'm sure. This is life, I know.
This is information is good for me to know, Amy. I hope it's good for you to know as well. Thank you.
Evan is such a sweet, intelligent boy and he worked hard and did very well during the beginning of the lesson, which is great!
For today's lesson, we reviewed Evan's weekly test homework (Lesson 17 - Task 2 - U2L7 - Homework - Weekly Test) and we focused on the following test-taking strategies for Multiple-Choice and Writing assessments:
1) Context Clues
2) Instruction Comprehension
3) Citing Text Evidence
4) Key Vocabulary
