Evan did well during today's lesson. Although he was tired, he engaged in his reading, learned new vocabulary, and was able to answer comprehension questions with some accuracy. Good job today, Evan!

For today's lesson, we reviewed Evan's Anchor Chart binder and we also covered Lesson 13 - Task 1 - U2L3 - Castle on Hester Street.  

We focused on the following literacy concepts:

4) Genre: Historical Fiction

5) Theme Chart (Summarize)

6) Similes (Figurative Langage)
