It was very nice to see Evan today. He was engaged throughout the lesson and his reading fluency and comprehension has improved so much, my goodness.

For today's lesson, we reviewed Evan's excellent weekly test multiple choice result as well as covered Lesson 11 - Task 1 - U2L1 - 'Roadrunner's Dance'.  

We focused on the following literacy concepts:

1) Pre-reading strategies: text-to-self and text-to-world connections

2) Key/New vocabulary

3) Reading strategies: Articulation & Enunciation, Fluency, and Comprehension

4) Genre: Folktale
