Brian had an excellent English language lesson today. He was fully engaged, actively participated, and worked very hard to succeed in his learning. Really wonderful work today, Brian. Very well done!

For today's lesson, we covered Lesson 28 - Task 1 - U6L9 - In Class - Red, White, and Blue.  

We covered the following literacy concepts and strategies:

1) Pre-reading strategies: prediction, identification, text-to-self and text-to-world connections

2) Key / New vocabulary: translations, definitions, and synonyms

3) Reading strategies: pace, fluency, decoding, intonation, text features, and comprehension

4) Phonics: '-air', '-are', '-ear'

5) Holidays and Festivals

6) Author's Point of View
