For today's lesson, we covered Lesson 5 - Task 1 - U3L5 - Delivering Justice.

We focused on the following literacy concepts:

1) Pre-reading strategies: Prediction, Identification, Text-to-Self, Text-to-Text, and Text-to-World Connections

2) Key/New vocabulary - Synonyms and Definitions

3) Reading strategies: Articulation & Enunciation, Fluency, Decoding, and Comprehension

4) Genre: Biography

5) Point of View (POV): Author and Narrator

6) Successful Learning strategies: use a ruler, read instructions carefully, proofread your work, correct mistakes, use an eraser, and be neat
