Chloe had an excellent English language lesson tonight. The lesson was focused on teaching Chloe very challenging grammar concepts and she worked very hard to succeed in her learning. Very well done, Chloe; I am very proud of you! Keep up the great work!

For today's lesson, we reviewed Chloe's homework and we covered Lesson 13 - Task 1 - U1L9 - In Class - A Natural Beauty.

2) Key / New vocabulary: translations, definitions, and synonyms

3) Reading strategies: context clues, text features, and comprehension

4) Genre: Expository Text

5) Mind Map / Idea Web: 'Chloe's Favourite Landmarks'

6) Complete Subject (main noun in a sentence)

7) Complete Predicate (main verb in a sentence)

8) Compound Subject (two or more main nouns using 'and', in a sentence)

9) Compound Predicate (two or more main verbs using 'and', in a sentence)
