We did great work today. We reviewed important grammatical concepts such as "subject", "object", "verb", and "predicate". Also, today, Brian learned how to use quotation marks correctly. Finally, we read a story together and Brian answered the comprehension questions. The homework is uploaded. 

We had a very informative lesson today as we went over foundational grammatical concepts such as subject, object, verb, and predicate. We also learned how to add extra details to the subject and the predicate. The homework is below. 

Brian and I learned about how families can work together. We looked at examples of actor families and farming families that illustrate this concept. Brian had success answering the vocabulary words and he was quite competent with that. Brian also wrote a text and we edited it for punctuation and grammar errors. The homework is below:

I would recommend that Brian reads at a slower pace and to focus carefully on punctuation intonation and on how to sound out challenging vocabulary.
