Dear Anran and Anran's parents,

Anran had another excellent English language lesson today. She followed lesson instructions very well, she worked on speaking in full sentences and did a great job, and she worked hard to understand all the challenging Grammar concepts we covered today. Wonderful!

For today's lesson, we reviewed Anran's homework and we also covered Lesson 28 - Task 1 - U2L9 - In Class - Cats and Kittens.

2) Key / New vocabulary: translations, definitions, and synonyms

3) Reading strategies: context clues, text features, fluency, and comprehension

4) Genre: Poetry (rhyming poem)

5) Elements of Poetry: rhythm, rhyme, and word choice

6) Multiple Meaning Words: homonyms
