Dear Anran's parents,

Anran worked very hard throughout today's lesson. She is such an intelligent girl and a wonderful student. She is such a joy to teach.

3) Reading strategies: context clues, text evidence, and comprehension

4) Genre: Fable (Folktale)

5) Spelling Improvement Focus: 'i', 'l', and 'g'

6) Test-taking success strategies
