Dear Marquis' parents,
Marquis worked very hard once again today and he did a great job with his English language learning, throughout his lesson.
Unfortunately, I was unable to utilize the homework evaluation data I normally use to inform my lesson planning for Marquis because his homework was submitted just before class once again. I understand that you may have internet issues in this regard.
I please ask, if possible, for Marquis to complete his homework earlier in the week so that I can evaluate his homework, gather his learning needs data, and incorporate this data into my lesson planning for him. That would be very much appreciated, if at all possible. Thank you very much.
For today's lesson, we worked on Lesson 28 - Task 1 - U6L9 - Jul 23 - A Box of Crayons and we covered the following literacy concepts:
1) Pre-reading strategies
2) Key Vocabulary (Poetry)
3) Reading Fluency & Comprehension
4) New Vocabulary
5) Genre: Poetry
6) Rhyming Poems
7) Point of View (Poet's Message)
8) Metaphors
