1. I think that Adoni whispered what the test was, which is why Jamara attempted to kill Bri during training.
2. Yes and no. I think that the Matriarch ordered Jamara to kill her opponent, which might have not necessarily been Bri.
3. A dichotomy is when two opposite things are fused together into one thing. In this case, 'the fusion of strength and beauty'.
4. I think there are two reasons for that: one, there were two certain Gentles that managed to convince the Matriarch to let Callisto ride in the arena, and two, I think the Matriarch seems to have a little liking in Reina.
5. She learned from both Adoni and Solomon. Adoni inspired Reina to learn to ride, while Solomon helped and gave tips.
6. Trinidad told Adoni that having a 'skilled, savvy, Alexia-friendly Matriarch' would bring its advantages, which Adoni understands.
7. In the beginning of the book, it's found out that Reina is tired of living in a simple, rural life. She wants to have a more exciting, Alexia life. But when she is put into the Succession, the things she sees there change her. She suddenly misses her old home.

10. They are both the same age, somewhere around the age of seven. However, the little Brutes aren't very organized, unlike the Gentles. The Brutes mostly travel in a group, while Gentles travel in a line, which gives an example on how free they both are. Gentles are destined for work. While Brutes also have work, they are treated as normal citizens istead of servants.
