Tiffany had another strong and positive English language lesson today. She is such an intelligent girl and a real joy to teach.

For today's lesson, we reviewed Tiffany's homework as well as her Anchor Chart binder. Plus we covered Lesson 17 - Task 2 - In Class - R&W.

We focused on the following literacy concepts:

1) Pre-reading strategies: Prediction, Identification, Text-to-Self and Text-to-World Connections

2) Key/New vocabulary - Synonyms and Translations

3) Reading strategies: Articulation & Enunciation, Fluency, Decoding, and Comprehension

4) Text Features: Pictures (Illustrations and Photographs), Captions, Graphics (Bar Graph), Special Print (Bold and Highlighted)
