Tiffany had a very good English language lesson. It was focused on Science, which isn't Tiffany's favourite subject (lol) but she did well nonetheless. For today's lesson, we reviewed Tiffany's homework. We also covered Lesson 15 - Task 1 - In Class - Literature Book.  

We focused on the following literacy concepts:

1) Pre-reading strategies: prediction, identification, text-to-self and text-to-world connections

2) Key/New vocabulary - synonyms and Chinese translation

3) Reading strategies: articulation & enunciation, fluency, decoding, and comprehension

4) Genre: Narrative Nonfiction

5) Cause and Effect

6) Definitions and Restatements
