Dear Tiffany's parents,

Tiffany had another very strong English language lesson today. She was focused and engaged throughout the lesson and she was able to successfully communicate when she was unable to understand a literacy concept or an instruction. Wonderful!

For today's lesson, we reviewed Tiffany's homework as well as her Anchor Chart binder. Plus we covered Lesson 11 - Task 2 - In Class - Nov 14 - Your Turn.  

We focused on the following literacy concepts:

1) Key / New Vocabulary

2) Compare and Contrast (Venn Diagram)

3) Genre: Expository / Informational Text

4) Text Features: Picture, Diagram, Bold Print

5) Multiple-Meaning Words: Homonyms and Homographs

6) Long 'e' sound

7) Plurals
