James did an excellent job in class today. He read the story of "The Giving Tree" independently. The only words he struggled with where 'branches' and 'shade.' Great job! James was able to talk about what happened in the beginning, middle and end of the story. He did very well filling in the parts of the story while talking about the cause and effect happening in the story. 

Excellent work from James today.
