Dear Jason's mother,

Jason was able to complete the Lesson 09 - Task 2 - Intensive Practice 3-1 Worksheets today! Fantastic!

He worked very hard. Word problems are challenging for Jason but he is gradually learning strategies that are helping him become more successful.

**We used colour coding to help break Word problems into 'chunks'. This seemed to help Jason understand the Word problems better, sentence by sentence (please refer to today's in-class work from the above lesson: pages 84-85).

Is it possible for Jason to have a pencil case full of highlighters for his Math Word problems? These will assist him significantly. Thank you very much.
