1. Maybe it's a scythe commandment. Probably because they give people who want to die a chance to live and have a better life? Or maybe they need to keep the population balanced.

2. They were lovers until a scythe caught them. They were punished by taking seven deaths and not talk to each other for seven years.

3. Scythe Curie told her that so she would see Scythe Faraday, aka Gerald Van Der Gans.

4. Citra realizes that Scythe Faraday is alive at the end of chapter 32.

5. Faraday writes how he thinks that Curie might hurt him. Pretty smart move, but he probably shouldn't just assume things.

6. The actions that Rowan takes affect him when he killed those scythes, he became more of a killer. It also affected his reputation.

7. Esme will probably forget the whole Scythe thing, live a normal life, and eat lots of pizza.

8. They must render their relative deadish to achieve their 'inner scythe.'

9. Every scythe always shuns black. So Rowan kinda stands out. Black means a symbol of darkness to scythes I think.

10. I am fine with the ending, but I do wonder what happened to Rowan after he and Faraday zoomed off into the night.

1. Citra knew that if she uploaded the pictures of Scythe Faraday's house, she would get data linked to those pictures. It was part of her plan on finding Faraday's murderer.

2. Training under Honorable Scythe Faraday is different than training under Goddard(Excuse me, HONORABLE Scythe Goddard). Scythe Faraday is a kind scythe who uses different kinds of gleaning methods, like poison. Training under him will not turn you into a monster. However, Scythe Goddard only used weaponry for gleaning. He thinks that using poisons makes a fool out of scythes. He also gleans with joy, and sometimes malice, which breaks the second commandment. Training under Scythe Goddard could turn you into a monster if you lose your sanity.

3. It is significant that Rowan helped those people because they were just innocent lives. Goddard is a serial killer(In my opinion).

4. Scythe Volta sees Scythe Goddard as a visionary but on the inside, Volta is losing his sanity.

5. I think it's because Scythe Goddard actually wrote the letter himself because it's one of the oldest tricks in the book. Now, no one will touch him. It's a very clever trick.

6. There is a chance that Esme MIGHT be Xenocrates's daughter. So when Goddard threatens to glean Esme, the only solution is to jump in the pool.

7. Esme is a girl taken in by Scythe Goddard, and she usually gets whatever she wants. If she wants pizza, she gets pizza. Esme is the key to controlling Scythe Xenocrates.

8. Scythe Curie's advice was to achieve scythehood and fight from the inside.

9. They think that she killed Scythe Faraday because of a journal entry that he wrote.

10. The Thunderhead needed to tell Citra something. *ahem* Well, it told her the real name of Scythe Faraday, which is Gerald Van Der Gans.

[展开全文]

1. She thinks she can find evidence of the murderer

2. Faraday likes poison but goddard likes weapens

3. Yes because I think he wants to save those people and stop goddard from killing them.

4. He believes that goddards way of gleaning and thinking would make him involved and he wants to be involved.

6. He saw Goddard put a knife up to Esme's neck.

7. She is Xenocrates daughter.

8.

9. She was accused of killing Faraday.

10. So she can find who is the murderer for Faraday, but insteads gives her his real name.

2. Training under Faraday(Excuse me, HONORABLE Scythe Faraday) is different from training under Scythe Goddard. Goddard doesn't use poisons very much and only like weaponry.

3. It is significant that Rowan helped those people because they were just innocent lives. Goddard is a serial killer(In my opinion).

4. He joined them because well, I dunno.

5. I think it's because Scythe Goddard actually wrote the letter himself because it's one of the oldest tricks in the book. Now, no one will touch him. It's a very clever trick.

6. I have a certain theory about this.

1. The Vernal Conclave is the conclave before the Winter Conclave. It is also one of the times that an apprentice can become a junior scythe.

2. Scythe Curie mentioned population and that more and more people come every day. She has mentioned how many people are gleaned in a year, but it is not enough to balance the population.

Rowan and Citra unexpectedly meet each other in an opera because they were going to be apprentices of Scythe Faraday. They come to live at Scythe Faraday's house. They watch some people be gleaned. In the conclave, Rowan and Citra both failed the one question exam. A scythe by the name of Goddard, who gleaned an entire airplane, suggested that whoever got the ring would glean the one who didn't. Scythe Faraday then gleaned himself to prevent this from happening...Or really? Citra is then taken in by Scythe Curie, and Rowan goes to Scythe Goddard. That's all I've read so far.
